Brian Sokalsky, DO is board certified physician in family practice and sports medicine.  He completed his medical school and residency training in the southern NJ and Philadelphia area.  After a one year fellowship in primary care sports medicine in Cleveland OH, he returned to southern NJ to join a larger orthopedic group.  During the 5 years there, he became increasingly frustrated with the drive towards higher patient volume, shorter patient visits and their complete disregard to the value of the doctor-patient relationship. 

In 2014 he decided to strike out on his own and opened Jersey Shore Sports Medicine.  With time to actually talk to his patients and learn more about their struggles, he gradually came to accept the limitations of the traditional medicine paradigm he was trained in and began his journey into “alternative” ways to treat his patients. 

In 2020 (3 weeks before Covid of course) he opened Jersey Shore Aesthetics and Wellness with an initial focus on IV therapies and has continued to add treatment modalities and philosophies that drive to the root cause of his patients’ ailments.  Though he is not currently actively practicing medicine, he continues to run the day-to-day operations of Jersey Shore Aesthetics and Wellness.
