Jim Donnelly is a serial entrepreneur who recently co-founded his latest venture, Humanaut Health, in Austin, Texas. Humanaut builds on previous experiences and aims to be the first company to scale and democratize functional, preventative medicine across the U.S.  Humanaut was recently named “One of the Most Innovative Companies in Health / Wellness in 2025” by Athletech News. 

In 2015, Jim co-founded Restore and opened the first Restore location. The Restore team created an innovative new category of care, Hyper Wellness®, which allows customers to feel better and do more of what they love to do. Today, Restore Hyper Wellness has over 225 locations.

In 2001, Jim and Tony Cheng leveraged their love for travel to launch one of the most popular online travel communities in the world, IgoUgo.com, which earned a Webby Award for "Best Travel Site in the U.S."  After IgoUgo was sold to Sabre Holdings/Travelocity, Jim founded Pursuit Group, an incubator that launched high-end experiential retail businesses and one-of-a-kind boutique real estate projects.

After founding and exiting his first company in grad school, Jim spent time in the US military as an Army officer before marketing stints at brands that included Kraft Foods, BellSouth, Coca-Cola and Citibank. 

Jim lives in Austin, Texas with his wife Stacy and their two children.  Jim is an avid health experimenter and continues to innovate in the health and wellness category.
